Hi alex. Can u tell me where can i get solutions to jnu past years papers as it becomes difficult for me to know whether i am going in right direction by solving jnu past years papers. Moreover is it worth doing m.a. from MSE. How is the placement scenario. is it good to go for mse for doing m.a.will it be worth spending 2 years there. from there. please reply. please. please. please. and one more thing how many seats are there in igidr. any idea. pls reply. pleseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee………..

No such book exists.
Option B is for those cxandidates who come from a mathematical background.
Kindly look at the DSE Handbook for the detailed syllabus.

@Mini Rai,
I personally have not gone through the book you mentioned. Since Krugman has done extensive research and won a Nobel Prize in the area of international economics, I am assuming it should be a good book (for JNU-SIS).

@Shraddha,
IGNOU will cover similar topics as that covered in other institutions. Furthermore, in a distance education mode, the opportunities of discussions are less; although, with online communities, it is changing. But, the main issue is the ‘ranking’ of these institutions. On the whole, I would suggest you think of a ‘contact’ mode rather than ‘distance’ mode of education, if your circumstances permit.

Hi Everybody,

Finally I think I got a website where I can discuss regarding the MA Entrance exams. Actually I did B.Tech and then I worked for Infosys for 18 months after that joined Symbiosis school of Economics in 2011 now am planning to prepare for DSE and other entrance exams. so folks tell me is there any community where we can discuss the doubts regarding the subject and the topics which were not clear to us if it is there already please post the link over here else we will start one..Suggestions and tips for the exam are welcome here is my mail id : bogathi@gmail.com… Have a great day..:)
